Recycling Is Garbage – New York Times

I drive certain people crazy when it comes to recycling. Recycling is a colossal waste of time and other precious resources.

To many, recycling is some sort of penance for their sins against Mother Earth.

When environmentalists have such a poor record with the prediction powers of their models how can they wonder why people are skeptical of the supposed effects of global warming?

Tangled Up In Blue

I was off in another corner of the internet, reading the comments section of The Volunteer Auxiliary Thought Police, where it was pointed out that the lyrics to Bob Dylan’s Tangled Up In Blue are not “split up on the docks that night…” but are actually “split up on a dark sad night…”

And, since this is the internet, there is a word for this phenomena: Mondegreen.
