One of the reasons I started this blog was to work on my writing. I know, that just like anything else worth doing, that writing more will make me a better writer. But I have a long way to go. Take a look at this little gem from Daphne at Jaded Haven:

Sigh…who are we talking about here? And I take issue with the imagery, as a writer. Why would someone chose something as beautiful as human desire to depict corporate greed? And the language is decidedly misogynistic. I get the use of vulgar language to shock and not make a point…but great writing is elegant, concise, and clever.
